Default 10 MM Female Tee

I am getting all of my plumbing situated for a turbo swap coming up soon and I want to change out my oil feed plumbing. I have a turbo charged and built S2000. I am tapping the oil pressure sensor on the side of the block. The pipe thread is 10mm, 1 or 1.25 pitch.

I want to run a male to male 10mm to 10mm fitting to a 10mm female T pipe. On one side of the T I want the oil pressure sensor, and on the other side I want a 10mm to -3 AN fitting.

The problem is that there is a huge lack of AN to metric and back plumbing. I could hook up a 10mm to -4 to a -4 female T, but there is no -4 male to 10mm female to plug the pressure sensor back in..

Also, someone was telling me that 10mm pipe will thread in to 1/8th pipe for a ways, and with tape around it, it will seal just fine???

Anyone know where I can get a 10mm female Tee?!?!?!?

Chris

10mm is the size of the head of the bolt itself, not the size of the thread. most 10mm bolts have 6 x1.0mm thread, while 10 x1.25 bolts is a big difference, at elast 4 mm in diffferences in radius...

most s2000 turbo kit, requires an oil filter relocation kit since you will have a hard time fitting an oil filter with the turbo next to it....you'll need to run an oil filter relcoation kit and you can tap the oil feed line from the relocation kit adapter..

if i'm not mistaken, the oil sending unit on the s2000 is just like any other honda, 1/8" BSPT. An M10 x 1.25 bolt is pretty close to the same diameter as the sending unit so this may be the confusion. Most likely you need the same T that every other turbo honda uses. Like stan said though, you will probably need to relocate the filter.

Shoot,

Tony, the local hydraulic place doesn't have any female 1/8" bspt fittings. Do you know where I can get one? Also I will need a male to male 1/8th BSPT fitting and a 1/8th BSPT to -3 AN

Please help!

My email is chris@chrisdrivesafastcar.com

Thanks

Chris

I have never seen a 1/8" bspt male to male, if you need a BSPT male to NPT female, I have those, then you can extend it out to NPT male to -3An male..
