SOHC not getting enough fuel?
Ok my friend just recently installed a used greddy kit on his 96 DX, Well he put a D16Y8 head on it and is running it with a p28 with a skunk2 jumper. We got it to run good no CEL's and it ran good for a few days. Now it is running extermly lean iunder boost. He has a Autometer A/F gauge and it reads lean and the car is just not running like it was. Before he was using his stock DX ecu and it was running decent with a couple of CEL's but not lean. BTW he is using his stock DX injectors. Any suggestions on why this could be? Thanks.
He is only running 7 psi

Stock Fuel pump and he is using a D16Y8 intake mani and TB. With his stock DX injectors.
no fmu? stock pump? how much boost?
you are stupid for not upgrading your fuel setup before you turboed.
Wow buddy that is not nice.
Yeah we rewired the IACV and we ran the VTEC to the plugs a4 and d6 on the jumper and grounded it too. He has a FMU or whatever that thing is little blue round deal. (i dont know about FI to tell you the truth.)
Yes the stock pump,7 psi.

Viren from VS racing sells Walbro intank fuel pumps are great prices. the 190lph or the 255lph would be a great choice over stock. Do you have a FMU ?? the injectors on a stock DX is about 240cc if you can upgrage that to 310cc or so would be nice.
94-01 Integra pumps should fit 92-00 Civics. But I think they're the same so get an aftermarket one. I think your problem is your fuel pump cannot handle the fuel pressures of an FMU. Upgrade fuel system. If you want to run more boost, I suggest the afc hack.
Yes he has a FMU.
EDIT: oops, i meant to say ". . . .the OEM fuel pump your friend is using."

He should have a 10:1 with stock injectors, 12:1 to be on the safe side but if he's going to continue running an FMU he needs to get an inline high pressure fuel pump. The high pressure intank isn't up to the task. Any more than 7 psi of boost and he should REALLY, REALLY get bigger injectors and Hondata.
Well he is not using a stock ECU..He is using a OBD1 P28, that is what is activating his vtec. But I will tell him he needs a better fuel pump. Well **** to tell you the trtuh i dont know what the hell it is but it looks like a round disk that was blue before but some body painted it black and has the gas lines ran to it then ran to the fuel rail via hose. Is that a fmu?
