How do you remove the headliner?
I want to install a fuba-style antenna where the rear window squirter is, but I'm afraid I'll damage the headliner trying to remove it. How difficult is it to remove? Thanks.
why do you want to put a "fuba-style" antenna on there?? isnt that liek using "racing" floor mats?? get the real thing....seen REAL FUBA's on some VW sights for liek $35 brand new....16 foot long cable, base and antenna. get the real thing
you will need to remove:
- the plastic screw in the rear middle of the headliner.
- the sun visors
- the rear view mirror
- the interior light
- i'm not 100% on this, but the plastic pieces around the rear windows
- the rear oh **** handles if you got them
there might be more. this is all from memory...

also you have to remove your door pillars because they run right to the back. Oh and just be jentle when taking the liner down its prittle. Also does anyonee know how to remove the washer squirter?

he means the A-pillar plastic. It just snaps right off. also there are snaps under the back plastic (one the dome light overlaps) that must be taken off carefully with a panel remover. If you dont have one use a phillips head screw driver with the head wrapped in electrical tape to keep from puncturing the liner.
When I took my sun visors off in the summer and put them back up they no longer go all the way up. they stick down like 3". does anyone know how to fix this?
It is somewhat annoying cause they are almost at eye-level.

not sure where u r talking about breaka...
could someone post a pic.
the only screws I noticed were the (2)torx screws that hold it into the headliner.
