Default How do you remove the headliner?

I want to install a fuba-style antenna where the rear window squirter is, but I'm afraid I'll damage the headliner trying to remove it. How difficult is it to remove? Thanks.

you will need to remove:
- the plastic screw in the rear middle of the headliner.
- the sun visors
- the rear view mirror
- the interior light
- i'm not 100% on this, but the plastic pieces around the rear windows
- the rear oh **** handles if you got them

there might be more. this is all from memory...

also you have to remove your door pillars because they run right to the back. Oh and just be jentle when taking the liner down its prittle. Also does anyonee know how to remove the washer squirter?

Well, when I bought it on eBay, it was advertised as the real thing, but I don't know for sure. I think maybe the real ones are the ones with the longer, skinnier antenna.

Here's what it looks like:

the foor molding is the interior molding that goes down the a-pillar (the sloped piece of metal that is in between the windshield and the door).

he means the A-pillar plastic. It just snaps right off. also there are snaps under the back plastic (one the dome light overlaps) that must be taken off carefully with a panel remover. If you dont have one use a phillips head screw driver with the head wrapped in electrical tape to keep from puncturing the liner.

When I took my sun visors off in the summer and put them back up they no longer go all the way up. they stick down like 3". does anyone know how to fix this?
It is somewhat annoying cause they are almost at eye-level.

there should be a screw on the underside of the sun visor. flip the visor down and there should be a screw to tighten the visor to the mounting bracket.

not sure where u r talking about breaka...

the only screws I noticed were the (2)torx screws that hold it into the headliner.

i could have sworn there were set screws which would allow you to tighten the sun visor to the mounting bracket. yesterday when i looked at the ones in my 99 teg, i noticed the screws weren't there. so i don't know what to tell ya...

i do have some sun visors for sale. IM me for details.
