Sorry to post this but I am really at a loss as to why I lost a point. If someone could please clarify why I lost a point I would appreciate it.

yeah, what's the matter with you? haven't you read the rules and regs on what's permitted and what's not? shame on you !!! oh wait... there is no list, is there?

I hate that more than anything else... you are just supposed to be a mind reader and know these things or know what some mods like and don't like! it differs from forum to forum... all the more reason there should be a sticky in every forum on the top as to what is allowed and not.

to make it worse, when most deduct points, they don't even feel the need to explain their actions or even notify you.

Sorry for the confusion in the mean time.... i agree its frustrating to have to learn the ropes from others, however comments like "IBTL" and LiKe_WhOa!'s recent postwh0ring binge should known better, by virtue of common sense, IMO.

I didn't know that IBTL made you lose percentage either. I never posted that anyways so I guess it wouldn't bother me.

 

There are simply too many postwhores on this site and measures are being taken to have them "taken care of".

Now is the time to differentiate yourself from the 16 year old twit who sits at his computer and gets his jollies by postwhoring on Honda-Tech. A good example of someone like this is "TheHate*" (name changed to protect identity).

Decide if you want to be a useful member of Honda-Tech or a former member of Honda-Tech.

If you guys want to talk about "common sense", then "common sense" would dictate:

1 - You make publicly available a list of all behaviors that will result in disciplinary action.

2 - You WARN the person the first, even second, time they break one of the rules.

3 - You PM the person EVERY TIME points are deducted and explain the reason.

4 - You WARN and, if necessary, DISCIPLINE any mod who breaks one of the previous three rules.

Yeah, yeah, I know, "points don't matter", "it's just the Internet", blah, blah, blah. Well in that case, why not ditch points and mods altogether? No? Gee, I guess they do matter after all....
