Default Will this Magnaflow muffler fit my integra?

.00" 5x8 18" 24" 17lb. 12259 $89.50

Offset-Inlet / Center-Outlet
Aluminized / Reversible

How bad is this aluminized crap? Should I spend the extra dough on stainless?

Stainless is nice but aluminized will still probably last longer than you own the muffler and/or car....personally i like the polished stainless mufflers, that's my touch of rice.

Don't get the offset. The straight through flows a lot more

just because it's offset doesn't mean it's not straight-through. and I'm a SS man myself. I used to have an aluminized muffler, and the **** rusted out on me in a year (lasted one NorCal winter ). and it was a DynoMax, which is pretty good quality. maybe i got a lemon.

you didn't see it on their site, but they're there: 3" inlet/outlet with a reversible offset/center setup. http://www.magnaflow.com/03cat-back/...nlesssteel.htm

EDIT -- but it's in stainless-steel, so that's probably why you didn't see it.

yea thanks, i was refering to lazures post "they make 3 inch offset straighttru's."

they only make 1 offset/offset thats on the same side, and its totally the wrong size.

What do you guys think of the new "Wide Open" line from Magnaflow?

I've got a Dynomax welded ultraflow, offset 3" in/out "straight thru" design, aluminized steel. They are supposed to damp an awful lot of sound while flowing very well... I have no clue about that as it sits in the shop and I cruise around open downpipe like a lazy bitch.

Chambered mufflers for forced induction suck. Don't use them, whatever brand you go for. The wide open design looks like it may bypass those problems, but I really can't say for sure as I've no first or second hand experience.

As far as fitment of a muffler into your Integra... I run a modified 15mm 91 Integra rear bar in my CRX, and in order to get an oval muff in the OEM position to fit between the ends of the bar I went with a 15" wide one. I *think* I vaguely recollect having around 17" to play with. For your particular Integra, a quick pop under the tail end with a tape measure should reveal all.

get a dynomax ultra flo welded, it flows about 1150cfm, more than borlaxr1 and magnaflow, ss is about 100, welded aluminized is 80, the ss flows a bit less, who really cares, you really cant see it anyways

go to dynomax.com, listen to the sound of the welded, sounds awesome, not that high pitch fart can sound i cant waitto go 3"turboback, no cat with the ultra flo

Where did you guys find decent sound clips of the welded ultra flow?
Im worried about dynomax construciton since the post above said their muffler rotted out after 1 norcal winter, and I live in salt hell Maryland.

The G2 teg mufflers stand side to side, the G3 is in line with the car, so its a totally different setup. It would make my exhuast tip come out the side and look retarted.

Thanks for the help.

I was tipped off on the Dynomax's by a bunch of turbo 5.0 owners in the PA + northern areas, and I haven't heard any complaints about that. The steel used is fairly thick, it's not the generica you find on the average OEM-replacement muffler. Go for the SS if you're worried about rust is my $0.02.

type in "dynomax ultra flo" on a yahoo search. you'll get a place called soemthing like A1 performance. 79.95$ for the ultra flo welded,

once i get mine I'll just throw on some high temp spray paint, or that spray on silicone. the high temp paint worked for my manifold
