Default Got a question for you hybrid gurus.

Here is the situation:

A buddy of mine and I have a B18b block from a 92 teg just laying around. We also just happen to have a B16 cylinder head laying there. He also has a 98 hatch he uses as a daily comuter.See where this is going?

Anyhow, does anyone know of any good online faqs/builders guide for all you need to build a Ls Vtec?Just a basic summary would do fine,we can figure out the rest.I don't want anything rediculous. The short block has low mileage so we intend on using the stock rotating assembly and just putting it together from there.

I am sure this is a subject that has been beaten to death but since H-T search function sucks I figured I would start a thread.Any useful info is appreciated.

just be very very wary about this setup....i've only seen a handful of LS/VTEC's not only actually work the way theyre supposed to, but last awhile.

then why even wast the money.
sell what you have, then buy a complete swap ready to run.
get a b16a swap
build a 1.8 or 2.0 block
exchange
then have a fast car.

Because that would be more expensive. We already have a cylinder head, block and a tranny from a wrecked Type R.

So,if it lasts 6 months I don't care.Better tham having them setting in the garage un-used.
