you can use the driver side mount that are on the h22 of the f22 the only mounts that would be different are the trans mount and the rear bracket, both have to do withauto or manuel trans. correct me if im wrong guys
If I am correct the rear mounts are pretty much the same from auto to manual. I know there are differences but I think the fitment is the same. As for the trans mount, I used one from a 95 lude but my accord is a 93 so that might not work for you.
i have an h22 in my 90 accord i used all the prelude mounts except the trans mount thats from the accord. There are a few holes on the transmission of the prelude that you need to tap after that the accord mount fits perfectly you will see what i am talking about on the transmission its just holes with no thread in em.
GOD! I've searched everything.
WHAT is the actual mounts you need to put this damn swap in.. I've tried and searched and everything.
I've heard from Grind this to Tap that. WTF!? someone help me out.
When all is good and done.. I'm gonna make an offical write-up of this swap. damn this is a pain.......

you can use the stock accord mounts for just the motor! you can use the accord tranny or research for pics on the correct holes to drill if you want the h22 tranny
I know 100% on my fifth gen It was direct drop in, but you took only the lude driver mount, and shaved it bout a quarter of an inch:
so i hope its the same for you and your gen:

this is what ive gathered from numerous sources and expirience. in a fourth gen, like yours, you use all the accord mounts for the engine. if your car was a 5sp, you need to tap the prelude tranny for the accord tranny mount to work. however, if you are going auto-manual with the swap, you use the prelude tranny mount for the tranny, all the other accord mounts, and it will drop in. im 90% sure of this because when i went auto-manual, i used the prelude tranny mount, it was an h23 tranny though, but im sure it is the same as the h22. the only 10% im not sure of is the engine mounts, but most sources say in a 4th gen, accord mounts work.

FACT: for a 4th gen, you use all the accord mounts and tap the holes in the prelude tranny and use the accord bracket. the above info is correct
everybody i know has used a MT rear mount rather than the AT, i dont know if it is because the AT mount wouldn't work or whatever, i just know that they used the MT mount

But when you aregoing auto to manual, you have to use MANUAL TRANSMISSION Accord engine mounts...the drivers side mount is the same, the frontmount is the same, but the difference is in the rear trans mount, youhave to use a manual trans mount.
You cannot use the Automatic Accord rear tranny mount.
Correct??

This is what we are working with:
1993 Honda Accord EXR AUTOMATIC (converted to 5 speed)
1993 H22A Prelude engine
1993 5 speed Accord axles, int. shaft
Accord AUTOMATIC engine mounts
Prelude tranny mount, rear trans bracket (5 spd.), and drivers side mount ALL M/T
The thing is though, the car we have was AUTO....therefore we have to get the manual rear tranny bracket and mount, use the auto drivers side Accord mount, use the auto Accord front mount, and use the Prelude trans mount. The rear mount from an Automatic Accord is different from a manual Accord. Right?
Damn this is a bitch

Here's the accord transmission tapped made to fit prelude bolt pattern compare it to the prelude...
Now here's the prelude transmission with out the being tapped you'll see small dimples that's where you tap...

Thanks for the pics, but the thing is it doesn't answer my question...we can't tap and drill because we have the AUTOMATIC engine mounts. We are putting the MANUAL Prelude transmission in. The car used to be AUTOMATIC so all we have is automatic mounts. AARRGGGHHH!!!
ok here's an A/T accord being converted to M/T w/h22 right engine mount Prelude
front engine mount
rear engine mount you can use the A/T but wont last you long due to the abuse, you should use M/T trans bracket and mount for longer lasting I found out the hard way
left engine mount accord you will have to add two or three washers to level engine use level when doing this you'll see.
and last this is how it looks, have fun good thing about a/t to m/t is that the engine wire harness you can use the a/t solenoids wires to run your extra sensors for vtec and knock
