hello can someone post pics of HID light beam patterns from Civic headlights...

doesnt matter if its the stock OEM housing or the JDM housings..

or at least someone tell me how they are (if they cant find pics of it) I know they blind people and stuff, but.. well just post your opinions here anyway

i have a phillips kit in my 98 housings,they don't blind people ,you have to level them,i have had many compliments on the road from strangers and the light output is unbeatable compared to halogen

what headlights are those? painted OEM headlights or are they CTRs? I cant tell.. but it looks like you have headlight diffusers (those metal things by the bulbs) so they are OEM?

I might be wrong though.. looks good@!

I wish I had some pics of mine...used AutolampsOn-line.com and they came with a diffuser, well worth the money...

 

Kinda OT, but are there some foglights or any kind of bulbs u can put in OE fogs for 99-00 that will match the color of the 4000-4300k HID kit. Don't wanna have bright white and then dull yellow.

 

im sure the regular PIAA superwhite will be ok.. it wont match the HID color, but it wont be a yellowish color either.. the regular superwhites are actually white.. so just look for the PIAA bulb with the slight blue tint..not those purple ones..

 

paulie, soon im gonna make a couple glare shields.. one for punjab chris and another for my friend brandon..they both have HID.. punjab has the regular 99 headlights, and my friend brandon has the 98 CTR ones.. so after i get their glare reduced, i will take some good road shots so u can see it on the road not on a wall. and if u need help with yours, installing, or aiming.. i'll help you out..

 

OoOhh...MTK....let me know how the glare shield comes out....i have the HELLA H4 high/low kit on a 99 civic, and it seems a bit glarry....let me know how it comes out, thanks. my HID's look like this

 

all u gotta do is put a piece of metal along the bottom of the bulb to get rid of the light hitting the upward reflector.. but on your kit, its hi/low.. so i dont know if you still need your bottom reflector to create the high beam reflection, but maybe u can try..
