96 Type R with 4 lug
for clarifcation, the 96 ITR was only made in Japan and it had 4x114.3 lug pattern. I imagine that brake kit for an accord or prelude of that same lug pattern *COULD* potentially work, but that needs to be verified.
are you running 96 Spec ITR brakes on your car or something?

Yes my freind just got the whole setup brakes wheels everything from a 96 jdm type R. Were wondering about brake upgrades since he roadraces the car. Its a 95 RS integra.
U meant 4pot? There are SPOON, Wilwood, AP Racing etc at least as I remember.
98spec calipers are already bigger than 96specR as someone mentioned I think. So does the discs and pads' sizes.

I have a 96 Spec R in the UK. A guy I know in the club over here has one also and he has upgraded his setup from the standard 262mm to the 4G Prelude Setup(282mm???). There is a prelude with 4x114.3 but I dont know which one it is sorry.
I have heard in Japan that this is a popular mod with 96 Spec Owners so I'm sure you can do it.
Anyway for what its worth here is the reply the guy sent me late last year :-
Brakes - Yep, we used the 4G Prelude VTEC disc/calliper set up. It should go straight on, with a little fettling to take into account the different disc offset. We also had to grind a little off the calliper, so that it would clear the wheel rim, but see how you get on before you start attacking them!
If your mate is running this setup on a 95 RS I would have thought that the standard 96 ITR setup would be sufficient?? I dont have a problem with them in my ITR - they are very good - I have upgraded the discs and pads and that has helped keep the heat down and stop them fading (unlike the OEM parts)
If I can help you anymore let me know.
