AN-R Header?

Is there any performance gains to this design by having it stick so far straight out before tucking down underneath the engine?
Yes I know longer primaries, but it looks like the same could be accomplished by having the collector down further.

those primaries are two inces in diameter. Definatly a high displacement (read:bored over to 2.0l) and high comp pistons. You'd definatly be flowing some serious exhaust then!
Edit:might just be me but I think that flage looks a bit flimsy.

this header has been flashing its head around here for awhile and some ppl just went out and swore by them. yet the only dyno shown on HT has been a ANR vs a JDM header on a B16 in which it did make more HP but not enough. theres been about 3 guys peddling these things on this board and yet none have posted dynos yet. i think one of them was supposed to have dyno results about a month or more ago. id like to see something that shows the "huge *** dyno" runs these guys made. come on guys pipe up here. defend the ANR header. u swore by them, show us results.
For the price of it I would pay a little more for a Type One or Spoon header, even though they might not have as much power but at least I would still have my teg radiator compared to a civic radiator
