USDM & JDM EF9 differences?
heres my '91 Si i just picked up last week, great condition for $2500. http://www.k-oticracing.com/steves91.htm ive been looking at pictures of the jdm ef9 front end conversion and besides the one-piece headlights it looks the same as what i have now. are there any major differences? or can i get away with my SiR conversion without doing the front end?
I'm kind of confused at what you are asking. Do you mean can you bolt up the 1 piece headlights w/o doing the front end. If that's what you mean, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, they won't just bolt to the USDM front end.
i was asking if the one-pience headlights are the only diffrence between the two. ive seen people put them in there EF w/o the jdm front end, it took a slight modification, but it fit. so if everything else is the same it would be a waste to buy the fenders, bumper, hood, and headlights all together.
?????wait so u jsut want the one peice head lights and no jdm front end. most people want the jdm front end and not the one peice headlights?.!...well for the one peice to fit you also need the sir hood. you have a really nice car that would look great with a jdm front end. personally i think one peice headlights only look good on ITR's and DA's. but we are all different more power to ya.
yeah i cant stand the two-piece, never aligned with each other lol maybe i will do the whole front end, i want to paint the car milano red and get the jdm style carbon fiber hood and ive got a b16 to throw in it before or after the cosmetics.
your front end has different headlights, corner lights, bumper lights, rad support, bumper, hood, fenders, and the jdm cars have sidemarkers...............if you want to use the SiR headlights then you still need the jdm SiR hood and the little peice of metal under the headlights above the bumper the front end is completely different

Onje piece headlights did NOT come with the JDM hatchback. They only come with the sedan. You will have to modify your car no matter if you get the JDM front or not. You could get the entire JDM sedan front end... but then you would need a sedan to put it on since the two cars are not compatible. Good luck!

If you are thinking to put it on the USDM hatch or CRX you will also get to cut into your hood because the one pieces are wider than the stock headlights.
...1 piece headlights for the 88-91 4dr civic and I've been told they will fit but you have modify the fenders a little

JDM EF9 doesnt have 1 piece headlights.. it has stanley headlights and corners... its made out of glass, and plastic... very c tru clear.....
the hood sticks oppostite to the USDM and goes upwards to go clearance for the B16... the fenders have the side markers on it and the headlamps off the SiR its a lil slimmer and longer.. they are not the same as USDM.... bumpers are diff.. have longer lamps, and lip... and diff radiator suport...
1 piece headlights are from 4door sedans like someone else said.. yes u can make them fit , but that will cost too much money...(money can do anything)
I did say 4dr 1 piece headlights I never said it was for the EF8 or EF9, just to clear that up. I have them and I just don't want them anymore
