Default black spark plug with oil on it cause white smoke ?

would bad spark plugs with oil on them cause a car to have white smoke from the exhaust cause my spark plug seals where leaking oil in to my plugs so i replaced them and bought new plugs and it doesnt seem to smoke anymore is this the reason why i had white smoke????

no, inverse the situation, the plug where black and oily beacause you got some withe smoke, you got a broken piston ring or head gasket, if it's really white and not blue, then it's the head gasket!

nope the oil got there because of the seals on the valve cover now that i fixed that no more oil is going in to my spark plugs and i think the black is from running rich with my chip i was just wondering if the oil on the plugs would cause smoke or really bad plugs cause smoke?
