Default Dyno'ed tonight...

The #s were really surprising, i was going to be happy pulling a mid 150.

Max HP: 166.9
Max TQ: 110.4

Mods are as follows:

Untouched 1st gen b16a bottom end
1st gen b16a head
98 Spec JDM ITR cams
01 ITR Valve Springs
Head Milled .020
ITR Intake Manifold
Feel's ECU Program (PR3)
AEM CAI 99-00 Si
Comptech 4-2-1 Tig Header
Greddy MX 2.5" Cat back
91 octane

From what i have gathered, the B16 loves a milled head which will raise compression. I know people will automatically think im fibbing the #s, so ill post a dyno sheet later on tonight as soon as i can get it scanned.

I totally believe those numbers. Are the cams dialed in using gears?

No thats the crazy thing, the cams are just in the stock position with no tuning. Im running an ecu chip with an 8400 cutoff and it made power all the way up as u can see in the sheet.

That's what I thought. I was actually expecting a few more ponies out of that thing. Get a better program and dial in the cams and you should hit 170hp n/p

Wow those are some good numbers. Maybe some tuning will smooth out that dip in the powerband as well.

Awesome!! Do you have plans to dyno it again when you get it tuned?

I've heard the Type R cams do well with I at +4 and the E at either +1/-1. With the milled head you will probably need to advance the cam timing a little more on both cam gears to get the same result.

It looks good!

Aw you know, they aint trippin off da flows....yeah ill redyno when i get a few more items that i can actually tune with (VAFC, cam gears, test pipe)

Peak HP was at 8400RPM and it kept building, i have a feeling it i was able to take it higher that i could have possibly hit 170. Im going to talk to the guy who burned the chip for me because it seems as though i have a 8400rpm fuel cut when i was suppost to have a 9k fuel cut.

Pfffttt... Hype Rs redline is 8400. My **** made 165.6 peak and peaked at 7700. Power at 8400 was ~160. OEM airbox is nice but has it's limits. Bubb, AIM no worky today.

My 1990 CRX Si with B16a chipped for 9500 rpm cut will rev to 10200 rpm with Jacobs I.C.E pack ignition before it hits the fuel cutoff. Spun the #3 rod bearing after 4000 miles of 9500+ rpm.

I had fuel delivery problems and engine would flatten at 8700 rpm. When I fixed the fuel delivery problem i went out and pushed car to rev limiter to make sure I was getting plenty of fuel up to the cutoff point. Car actually flattens out on HP after 9600 RPM cutoff came at 10200 on tach recall button. My son drove it at the drag strip the next day and after 3 runs it spun the #3 rod bearing. We have put it back together with new rod and main bearings and she runs like a top again.

Count Blah: Great numbers. TOTALLY beleivable. With a stock LONGBLOCK, ITR intake manifold, ITR cams with stock cam gears, filter on the throttlebody, JG 64mm Throttle Body, Stock Header, and GReddy 60mm exhaust, no cat, I made 151.6 at valve float. Tuned with a Hypertech Shogun tuner and Field's VTEC controller.

We ran out of fuel.. My car NEEDED 310's, seriously. My car kept making more and more power until it hit valve float at 8500 rpm.
