How to: bleed Coolant?
Hi guys, any of u know what is the correct way to bleed new coolant? I had to drain my anitfreeze from my radiator, cuz i had to replace my thermostat! So when i put antifreeze back in, do i need to bleed my radiator hoses?
Do you want to do a full flush? When was the last time you did a coolant flush?
If it's been a while, also flush out the coolant in the engine. Like the previous poster said, there is a engine block coolant drain plug below the distributor. Open up the plug, drain, then use some distilled water to clean it up a bit. Drain completely, then use some red silicon on the plug and seal it up. Now, fill the radiator w/ your choice of coolant mix. Owners manual has the steps to getting it properly filled.
