Is it ok to use a high temp silicone sealant from the manifold to the turbo? I got it for my oil pan....but will it also work on other things like the downpipe, etc....

 

I used some sealant on my manifold. I used a crx manifold, and put the egt probe where the crx O2 sensor went. and sealed it up with some of that sealant because I had to use a washer and assorted fittings to get the right fit for the probe. But it sealed perfectly fine no problem at all.
