i have a b18c1, and from the research i have got here, lowest compression is not always the best way to go, cause it can make you lose hp as well. so i was wondering if 9.5 je pistons and eagle forged rods would be good enough for 12-15 psi hopefully making around 250-300whp. and my set up is goin to be used with hondata
or should i go with 9.1 compression? this is a daily driver. i was goin to go with a resleeve as well, but fom research here, i seen stock sleeves hold a good amount of boost. (most likely more then ill have) ay encite or suggestions? on my set up? thnaks for input

with good tuning, 300hp is not unheard of with stock sleeves. They just add an added degree of security.
But there are some long, heated, and informative posts about higher compression vs lower compression for turbocharged cars. Just search the archives for "Compression" in the FI forum. But look for the Long threads
IMHO, 10:1 is a great CR for a daily driver, not too low for off-boost driving around, but not too high to cause too many headaches.

10:1 SCR is good for you, but I suggest a good sleeving session to assure you miles upon miles of trouble free boosting. Especially with higher compression pistons.
12-15psi would work beautifully too.
