Default DSS stage 5 with 28" slicks?

you guys think the DSS stage 5 axles will take the punishment from numerous launches from 28" slicks? I'm talking about dropping the clutch and slipping it out until I can get the launches down

I'm only expecting around 600-650whp...you guys think I should stick with 26" instead?

Or the extreme and mark williams kit. It really depends on the driver as well. Ive seen stock axles with a 26" wheel...

I was going to say extreme, but i thought they were discontinued.. and as far as 26" slicks on stock axles, thats interesting, ive heard of 25's, and a clusterfuck of 24.5's, but never 26"s, thats awesome, lol

that's what I'm saying...I can't afford a $5,000 axle setup right now.

What's the cheapest out there. I was jsut gonna trade in my new stage 3 for stage 5

According to Charlie, the Prodrive stage 2 can handle the 28" slicks all year....Right now Im on the fence between doing the Prodrive or the Extreme setup....Big difference in price but I could sell the suspension and brakes to make the difference up. We broke our DDS stage 5 on the dyno once and at the track twice on the 28" slicks. Each time Frank sent us new stuff but the whole breaking issue sucks.....Atleast we have a brand new DSS 5 setup to sell.....

So Frank sends YOU new ones when you break or does that apply to everybody who breaks a stage 5 axle?

I wouldn't mine breaking axles if he warranties them....I thought that he didn't wearranty them
