No, I dont want Saran wrap either. Usually, test cars or prototype cars from the factory normally has these plastic sheets over their bodys to protect it from damage. Id like to buy a roll.

NOTE: Not the car, the black sheets on the side of it.

It's because they don't want to get crazy rock chips in them when they race on the track.

The reason why I want this is because my car is going in a body shop REAL soon. I hate rock chips and I hate any imperfections any debris can cause to my car.

I do road trips quite frequently and Id like to protect my front end. Kind of like a disposable car nose mask.

but i belive in an import tuner not so long ago they have this invisable bra thing they installed on a wrx, and you couldnt even tell it was there , but it protects your **** from rocks and stuff and it looks damn nice i would suggest that over ugly black stuff

 

Beat me to it! I was just about to mention that invisible mask stuff they use now. I have gotten to see this product in person and it is indeed very hard to see. Only if you get up real close can you tell there is an extra layer of film over top of the paint

Ive looked into it, I dont mind plastic baggy lookin trash bags. Most of my driving is 8 miles to work (city driving under 55mph) = 16 miles a day.

OR, highway miles which is when Id put it on.

I would imagine hitting a big piece of tire could phase my front bumper. I know in fact it would. No way am I trying to say this will save my front bumper from debris. The only objects Im worried about is small pebbles, rock chips.

I know what Im looking for will protect my front end from rock chips. Same concept as clear mask.

Called the dealership, they only get the cars like that. "They have no idea where to get it."
