Opinions on Hasport Cable-Hydro conversion?
I didn't even know this existed until a few weeks ago and was wondering what all was involved with the 300 dollar kit from Hasport. I have driven hydro to cable converted cars and hated the extreme stiffness of the pedal that came with the conversion but have no idea what the opposite feels like in a cable driven car. I can't seem to find any info on their updated website on either kit and was wondering if anyone has tried this and how they feel about it?

That's the HCP kit. I've seen some setups give you that "dead pedal" feel because the way the slave cylinder is setup. This may happen in 1 out of 500 shifts, where the slave cylinder over extends and gets air inside of the boot, and then it falls w/out any pressure and that gives you the "dead pedal" feel, but that's just something to watch for. Using a spacer takes care of that problem.
As for drivability, I drive another EG Civic every now & then that has a B18B and YS1 cable tranny, using the HCP kit and it drive's fine. Engagement is quick, but that also has to do with the clutch setup I'm running on it. As for how it "feels" compared to a hydro tranny in the EG Civic, honestly not too much of a difference except that the cable tranny feels like you can play with the clutch more (like any cable tranny) and work with it. I haven't raced it on a track yet, but I've driven it hard, dumping it at times and it holds up just fine. Hope this helps.

that the cable in a hydro car kit, does anyone make a kit that makes hydro trannys work in a cable trannied car, like putting a second gen b16a hydro tranny in a crx for example or would you have to swap over all the master cylinder, hard lines, and soft lines
