Default Changing rotors on a EG hatch

Is it hard or easy? A friend of mine needs his to be changed. I have a compressor and an imapct wrench. What else is needed? Thanks in advance.

Also, is it hard?

well you wont need a compressor or a impact gun its pretty easy if you take the wheel off and look at it

jack up the car and use something to hold it up safely (no not a jack)
take the wheel off first- 19mm
take the calipers off - 17mm (two srews - top and bottom)
get a philips and unscrew the screws on the rotor.
then tap it lightly and it should come off.

to install follow the steps back.

it should take about 30min with power tools if you really know what you're doing otherwise 2hr downtime. with beer drinkers or smokers 4hrs.

I've never successfully removed those screws holding on the rotors with a regular screwdriver. Each time I have had to break out the impact screwdriver and hammer and replace the screws with new ones. I'd recommend that you be prepared to do the same.

Also, spray the rotor down with brake parts cleaner before you install it, and it is recommended to install new pads whenever you change rotors.

^ Power drill , I coulda used a regular screw driver on my rears, but decided to use the power drill. And yes replace ur screws, i didnt replace mine cuz i was really careful, but its always a good idea.
