I have for sale a Accel gen 6 dfi for all hondas and acuras. This unit is in good working order. Comes with a complete wirring harness and all related sensors to have a full working standalone engine mgt. unit. $600

 

Mike, how does the DOS system compare to a windows based system?

 

I guess the drivers might be a little better and its a little more sugar coated...but im still a huge fan of the gen 6.

 

So what kind of operating system does i take?Is there anywhere i can dl the software to preview it?

 

when you say for hondas and acuras, do you mean that it's been wired already? Just mount the sensors and plug in and tune?

 

Thats it...wire harness is already made. All you have to do it clip them in...mount the water temp sensor and airflow sensor and your ready to go. Most every tuner knows the gen 6...its an oldy, but goody. Its the same system I used until I went to Autronic this year. I dont think there is anywhere you can download the software to review it. Trust me though, its very basic and direct to the point.

 

Well i got money now,but where im from i dont know of any tunere who have used any ems for that matter.I downloaded the cal map for the gen 6 and it looks a little complitcated for me,i like the setup of hondata and aem systems.Does the gen 6 run in dos similar to like motec?

Man it sucks to be

 

The dfi has a program in it to run up to 30 pounds of boost til 10,000rpm on 1000cc's.

 

So what is your dfi wire harness wired up for? Honda? Acura? Vtec? or non-vtec? Is it complete with all sensors and software and comunication cables? Anything wrong with it? Do you have any pics? I'm interested. Located in socal. Thanks.

 

its wired for a b-series vtec motor. It really doesnt matter though as it will plug into all honda and acura motors. It is complete...dfi box, premade wirring harness, sensors...and I can even run a copy of the programing. It does not come with the cable that hooks the laptop to the box.
