Default removing rear wiper and wings west spoiler

how do you remove the rear wiper? im guessing you gotta take something out from underneath the rear hatch cuz i tried prying that plastic piece around the base of the wiper but it doesnt budge.

the reason im trying to remove the rear wiper is for this spoiler:

i didnt know they made two different ones until after i ordered, one with a wiper hole and one without, but i got the one without. what do you guys think, would it look better with or without the hole for the wiper? do you have any pics of CRXs with that spoiler with the wiper, and pics without?

thanks

the piece of plastic at the base of the wiper should come off, it might take a little prying to get it off but it does come off, if you take the plastic off from inside the car the only thing you are gunna find is the rear wiper motor. as for the spoiler i have no idea i own a hatch

at the base of the wiper, a tilting plastic peice should flip up to reveal a nut. to flip this peice up you probably gotta pry really hard considering it's weather-beaten. if you don't care just break it off, i guess. then take the nut off and wiggle the wiper back and forth until it breaks free.
