Default Should I jump on this deal??

I found a 1995 dark blue EG hatch with 218k miles on it.. the dude said the only thing wrong with it is the axle drips oil from a bad seal which i'm not too worried about.. guess the only thing i'm worried about is the mileage.. but he is selling it for only 2500.. i'll probably talk him down a lil but what do you all think? should i jump on this? BTW he's the original owner..

$2500 for a eg with 200k miles on it? You must be out of your mind to buy that. My roommate RK bought his 92 VX from the ACURA DEALERSHIP for $2700 sticker, $3300 out the door! WITH 90,000 MILES!

You could justify buying the car by saying, "I'm swapping the engine, it doesn't matter...." blah blah blah. But car with that many miles has LOTS of other problems other than the engine and tranny failure.

Well I know the miles is kind of a concern... but yes I do plan on throwing my b16a in there.. bascially i wanna take the b16a out of my coupe and throw it in the hatch.. and throw the engine from the hatch into my EJ coupe and sell it or use it as daily driver... not sure though.. what if i could talk him down to like 1800?

With that many miles I wouldnt call it much of a deal. Look elsewhere...

With that many miles, I think it's better to qualify it as a rolling shell.

Serioulsy though, look else where.

With that many miles, I'd say 1500 or less.
