Default my 94 cx hatch vtec wires with new swap

my cx hatch had a gsr motor in it before..but then returned it to stock cx motor..Im doing a jdm itr swap as soon as password:jdm gets there new motors in stock.. do you guys think it had all the vtec wires run already.. how can i tell? what do they look like?which wires is it again that iw ill need for the jdm itr 99 swap?thanks...

It depends but I would would say no. Chances are someone had the VTEC and extra sensors hard wired directly from the sensor to the ECU. In that case, they wouldve been taken out or cut when the motor was removed. Even if the wiring isn't there it's not going to be hard to get it back to the way it was.

That's a good point... I never hard wire anything, I'll basically do whatever it takes to make my harnesses stock so you wouldn't have that problem in my case... Anyways you're in luck having an EG because if they wired it as though I would (or even if they had all the pins wired into the ECU pigtails), I don't see why they would take the time to pull out all the wires through the firewall... That's just how I see it though... check the ECU pigtails.. If you have wires running out of A4 (VTEC), D6 (VTEC press aka VTM), and D3 (KS) then trace them out to see where they go, if they are ran through the firewall then you are in luck.. Your VTEC is basically wired up... If you need anything else lemme know... Peace

i'll go check it out.. i hope its wired up cause im not sure how to exactly how to wire all the vtec wires up cause this is my first time doing the swap completely by myself....anyways thats for all the help i will check out the ecu right now..
