P28 question

Default P28 question

just wondering if a p28 w/ jumper harness will work on a b18c5 w/ stock internals and stock head w/out tuning or chipping. whats the revlimit and vtec switchover? will i have any problems switching my stock ecu to the p28? thanks

it'll work.. just not right. It's that type of thing you would do if you needed to move the car and the only ecu you had was the stock P28. I wouldn't drive on it..

Talk to kenji and get him to chip it, you'll like that bettter.

i would expect a severe lean conditoin, probably some detonation....
vafc cant do squat.

Just get it chipped. I ran the mugen prog in my P-28 and it ran great. Of course this was before Hondata became popular.

yea man they are ok when chipped becuase your getting a program for your modded itr.
the stock p28 program is from a civic ex or something like that , deff not enough fuel to be safe, the rev limit will be alot less amonst other things if im correct, i wouldnt chance it .
