I need a new engine definately!!!!!Read for more plz

I have a fucked up engine. it is a 16 valve Sohc non vtec (i guess). My car is 1800cc 1996 accord ex straight from japan.
please help with this.
WHAT TYPE OF ENGINE SHOULD I GET ???
Where can i buy it?

I heard that the prelude engine is the **** to pull my accord

Depends.

If you just want to get it running. F22b1 sohc Vtec <$500 on here and ebay.

If you want more performance.....H22A >$1500.

Thats AMazing.Where can get a double cam .do u have any other place or site that i can order from. They shoould be reliable .

I say just stick to the F22B1, it's a good motor, and can easily be modified to surpass the H22.

if you really have an EX, you have teh f22b1 motor(SOHC VTEC motor)...the sohc nonvtec(f22b2) came with the LX/DX.

Depends, Razor. For some reason in Canada a US Dx is an Lx here, an US Lx is an Ex here. They both have F22B2. The US Ex is called Ex-R here, with the F22B1.

So maybe he's right about the engine if he's from Canada. Maybe same in other countries too?
