I'm hooking up a 00 SI cd player right now... went and picked up the harness today (part #: 04320-S84-999AH) I am assuming all the speaker wires connect to each other with the same colors as the car (91 civic), and also the wht/grn main power supply, and also the red/blk illumination signal wire. I have some other wires that I'm not sure if I use or what they go to... Does the sold blue wire atach to the wht/blu(constant power)? Then I have a wht/red, grn/red, small black, and solid red wire left... should these just be left unconnected? thanks for any help...

 

Ok, does anybody know what the white/red wire goes to on the 00 SI harness?

 

here's the colors for the civic, but it sounds like you already know those....

12V Switched Power - White/Green
12V Constant Power - White/Blue
Illumination/Dimmer - Red/Black
Chassis Ground - Black
Left Front(+) - Blue/Green
Left Front(-) - Green/Black
Right Front(+) - Red/Green
Right Front(-) - Brown/Black
Right Rear(+) - Red/Yellow
Right Rear(-) - Brown/White
Left Rear(+) - Blue/Yellow
Left Rear(-) - Green/White

the easiest way to wire it up, instead of getting a factory 00 harness, would have been to go to your local stereo shop and get a reverse harness from them (Metra p/n 71-1721 or Scosche p/n HA08R) then you would have a harness with universal aftermarket colors and you could wire it to your car using the chart above.
