Below are a few quick pics of my new paint job. the whole car was painted including the spoon mirrors, type r wing, side skirts, and rear liscense plate holder. the molding holes were filled. the color is flamenco black. the pics kinda suck and dont do the paint job justice. ill post some better pics up asap.

why don't u just shave the molding.

 

no body lines look kinda funny IMO. Looks better with the indent than to just be flat. Plus it easier just to fill in the holes rather than filling in the whole area.

 

is that a red vinyl interior in there????

it cracks me up 2. i welded it on to pass emissions. im getting a catback soon.

Is it just the pic or is that a pretty big gap between the fender and bumper on the drivers side?

good eyes. its pretty big. its going back to my friends body shop for some final touches. there is alot of texture in the paint and its gonna all get buffed out. the bumper is getting straightened out and the wing is getting aligned better. in all i payed 2666 for all that is done so far. the rest will cost me about 500 from the best body shop around. they quoted me 5000 for just a paint job there. and thats a discount because im friends with the owner. they do ridiculious work. anyway im drunk so peace out.

ok about the interior. the back piece that covers the hatch is covered in red felt. ill take pics soon. it doesnt look to bad but im sick of it and wanna go back to stock. the roof is also red. and the doors are red stretchy material. the doors got all messed up and look like ****. im in the process of finding new stock doors, new roof and new hatch cover thing. ill have pics up for you guys to laugh at.

i just took better pics and ill be uploading them tomorrow. i also put my rims on and lowered it. it looks much better.

 

What lip is that? I don't care much for it. I dig the 99-00 Si stock lip...But it's your car not mine. Looks very cool w/out those moldings, nice how you just filled the holes and didn't **** up your car by slapping 25lbs. of Bondo like everyone else does.

 

actually its the strips of sheet metal you weld in there that may weigh something , you actually use very little body filler
