Anyone Ever changed your rear dust shields? (pics inside)
I'm gettin ready to do a brake swap on my car and have no problem showin a walkthrough or a DIY, but theres one problem. I want to put on new dust shields for the rear brakes, but I'm not quite sure how to get access to it. Heres where I'm @ now..

THe brake dust shield is the black thing right behind the hub, and i cant get it off because its all one big circle, unlike where the front have a slit in them. Now, mypossible routes....

Similar to the front wheels nut that holds the axle to the hub assembly.
Or the Back of the entire unit there is this...

Which one should I go for to get at the dust shield?

the ones from the back will do nothing to help you, you have to pull the nut on the front and pull the hub, the problem is that most likley you will damage the bearing pulling the hub from the spindle, i believe they are about $150 a piece, is it worth it to you that much to get the dust shields on there?
Why do you think I would damage it? If worse comes to worse, I'm gonna get creative and get new ones and go to work with my dremel and put em on like the dust shields for the front brakes.
