The only thing i know is that a SCer won't work with a H22A in an Accord, well at least the jackson one

Going turbo on Accords it's hard cuz there isn't much space, i mean, yes there are accords turbo, but is not an easy task to do

search for h22...trust me, they are out there. do'nt put "boosted h22" or anything, just search for h22 or turbo as single words, adn read all the topics, you'll find it somewhere in there.

and yes, plenty of room to fit a turbo on h22 in accord

H22, yes. B series? why? less torque. Don't worry, i've tried - check out my LS 4th gen hahhah it's deschet Yo. I can't beat Civic EX's or even an Integra LS. I just can't figure out why!

I think 2000Accord5sp is currently working on a fully built H22a boosted in a '94 Accord. That is one helluva project he's got going...

Yup, 5th Gens began production in the 94 model year changed a little bit in 96 (as well as converting to obd 2) 98 was the first year of the 65h gen. Honda modle cycles run in years of 4. I am working on a boosted H22a to drop in my accord. Here is some helpfull advice....Have at bare minimum 5k saved up and own the swap prior to doing this if you want to do it right (if you dont own the swap have 7k saved up). Reason I say this is due to the fact that at the moment I have about that much (if not more) debt on CC and the project is NO where close to being done. Well its pretty cllose but I am doing it all right once and calling it quits with my accord, so I am doing all kinds of crazy ****.

True, there is plenty of room. The only downfall the Accord has when it comes to turbocharging it, is that damn front engine mount bracket. We boosted a '97 Accord EX ( custom kit) at work awhile back and the A/C line came real close to the downpipe, and this was the best way we figued out would work better. The setup kind of resembled the FMax kit for the 5th gens. Good luck!

my roommate has a 5th gen hybrid turbo. while it LOOKS like you have loads of room- you really dont - look at your front engine mount. thats basically where the turbo sits in most kits. generally, a little . . . modification is needed.

well i guess that a/c line has to go then. i dont really care about A/C anyways. ive always had shitty cars without it. in fact, i had a car that blew heat all the time. yeah i rode in shorts and a beater with all the windows down even in the rain. to the guys that have this swap, or a turbo with a different motor, do you have to use custom piping? or can you just bolt on a prelude kit.

you can have a sc with an H22 in an accord but you have to move some of the firewall back. I saw a guy at nopi that had a 6th gen turbo H22 that had just been finished. he had just sold his sc. you could see the place on the firewall where they had to cut and weld and add in a few inches of room.

The guy i talked to said that using the sc was not worth the troube of moving the firewall because he made more horsepower with the turbo kit than he ever did with the sc, But it is possible.
