I'm taking my armrest off, incase they steal my car. Since theirs no way of recovering it from the dealer I decided to remove it for memories.

My question is their a 00 jdm spec badge that i can put on the jdm e-brake cover?

I have this vtec sports mag. It specifies that theirs a 96spec, 98spec, and a 00spec.

The 00spec badge is very rare and hard to find. I do not know anyone with one. 98spec is good enough for most of us.

 

Japanese like to call their cars 'XXspec', instead of like the US, who says '99 Civic Si. The " '00spec " Type R is a 98 spec, just produced in 2000, if you know what I mean. (and the other small changes) There are two different Type R's: 96spec and 98spec.

That being said, can't you just order a blank number plate and have it engraved??

 

They do have a 00 spec. So that makes it 96spec, 98spec, and 00spec. I don't think there are 96 spec plaques though.

 

Who has a '00 spec? It goes by a whole different name simply because of obd2 rev2, and color changes? I can't believe it. Show me.

 

Can u put the original plaque with your # on the JDM ebrake cover? I thought about doing this since my armrest is starting to look like vinyl but i love my armrest. I guess i could just order another armrest cover and put my plaque on the new one.
