Default Bake your headlights in the oven?

Okay i've read searches on doing this for the headlights to paint the housings black. I just tried it on my clear corners and 250 at 6 minutes and the melted. Anyone else have this happen. I'm pissed. I was going to do both the headlights and the corners, but screw that, I'll leave them stock.

that makes me feel a lot better. Well a little better. I say we try the headlights tomorrow. I bought some clear corners at nopi for 24 bucks. I might do the ghetto amber ones myself. Or maybe throw them in the oven too.

are you painting the inside of your headlights or your clears??.... if you do your head lights ., lighting wont be good , but if you want, theres 4 clips i think that hold the glass on take them off easy, put the rest in the oven for a bit, and then cut away the glue that holds them on... the rest is cake. just remember the engineer didnt design it for no reason.

it might work, really all you need to do is heat up the glue so it will come apart easy.

if I was you I'd just get the black housing projectors and call it good instead of trying to paint the stock ones

free mods, yeah I'll have to agree that it's cheaper (duh of corse) but I still would save up and just get the black house projectors and get a HID conversion for them, that'd be sweet

Is it just me or is this thread stupid? I think that you should go buy the headlights, but I know about the money issue my, I got the same problem. I think it would work on the headlights because they are glass, but the plastic corners, well you know what happend.
