i need to know about the map sensor... i ve search the whole site and never found about map sensor... i m remove my mimi me set up out of the 88 crx and swap the 92 integra motor into the crx..( havetn swap it yet but about to) need to know about the map sensor... do i have to remove the map sensor and vacuum stuff from 92 integra??? because i m use my integra engine wiring harness.... because on 88 crx dont have a plug to map sensor but 92 integra do..

 

the map sensor plug on your stock crx will be the same as the plug ont he 90 integra, just use the one from your CRX ... if you're not sure, just tee into and vaccum line off the intake manifold (such as your fuel regulator) and connect to the stock CRX map sensor ... your ecu will be expecting to read loads from your stock CRX map sensor ont he passenger side shock tower not the integra map sensor harness plug.

all the map sensors on the hondas are pretty much the same.. they plug in.. my 88 dx plugged directly to my 95 ls throttle body... (map sensor on top of tb).. and the map sensor on your 88crx would be on the firewall.. not on the throttle bodies of the newer hondas...(obd1 and up) hope that helps.
