Default Imput bearing part # for L3 trannies.

With my recent foray into my 89 si tranny for a rebuild I've come to understand many things about the transfer of power to the street. I purchased the complete rebuilt kit for the transmission that came with synchros and seals and bearings. I've also helped a couple of my friends pull their old transmissions apart and one thing seems common to all these 88-91 L3s....the worn imput shaft(mainshaft) bearing. I compared the replacement bearing with the whole stash of them at autozone and I found its replacement. Part # 205F....Its listed as a rear wheel bearing. Tokk the calipers to it and its an exact match. So instead of going to honda or thru some other company for a whole kit when really all thats broken is the bearing....now you know where to go.
Yeah, there ya go, my 2 cents.
