u96 GS-R cams in a b16A SIR1. what all is needed and will it gain hp on a turbo application?
ok I did a search and didn;t get much.
Ive read that people have gained up to 50 hp by using GS-R cams. well im goin to be turboing my B16 and was wandering if the GS-R cams would be a good upgrade. Also if they are what all is needed? Cam Gears? springs? retainers? valves? and will pistion valve clearance be an issue(stock pistions)?
thanks for all the help.

ok i didn't know if i needed to change the springs like u do when u install CTR cams.
The GS-R cams only have 25,000 miles on them will they need reground or anything or can i just put them in?
would new springs an retainers help at all?

I was told the GSR cams will make a fair amount of power all the way to 9000rpm. He sugested Skunk 2 springs and retainers and move the rev limit up to 9k. He said that knowing I have stock internals. What do you think about that?
