Default HELP my trans is clicking!!!!!!!

when i start to go a clicking sounds comes from the trans it sounds like it is coming from where the moter and trans bolt up ...like were the flywheel and torque converter are it clicks faster when the rpm raise ..so i feel like it might be in a rotational part of the trans it sounds like putting a card on your bike and letting it hit the spokes!!!!!!!!! it doesend do it in "R" or when i am at highway speed it really only happens form about 1500 rpm until it shifts then it comes back till it shifts and dies out ..but i might not be able to hear it over my exhaust ! the car is a 90 modle accord (auto) i think it might also be a pump ? but hell i am no expert! thanks for the help !!!!!!!!!!!!!

First thing to do is check your tranny fluid. If it low, then add some and see if problem still happens. If it does, I would then flush the old tranny fluid w/ new.
If problem still is present - go to a qualified tranny expert.

that is where I would start.... also letting the car sit for 30 seconds after you start it will allow the fluid to at least start circulating the the tranny before you drive off. I have a 1994 and it is slow to engage in drive so I place it in drive wait about 10 sec and then drive off. Honda trannies are known for this problem...

i changed the whole tranny and am rebuilding the old one.

yes, it did come from the front side of the transmission.
if its just a slight click, changed the fluid/have it flushed, it will probably stop.
if its a loud, horrible sounding click, its probably about to die.

who has never heard anything as bad as when tranny was in the final steps of death.
