well i dont think cold weather is that bad for it. Im guessing that it doesnt need to be waxed but im not sure. If you have it clearcoated you might be able to wax it a little but im just talking out my *** right now. does anyone know for sure.

Even with real bitter temps you wont have any probs. Use a clear coat wax...I think.

Yeah funny thing sometimes around here when nobody lends there 2 cents, just remember there really are some great folks on these boards!

They don't like the sun so avoid hot temps and wax it if it's going to be in the sun often.

Good Luck...tear it up. Keep in mind that camp is all mental...physical as well but most ppl dont have a problem with that part.

I have no idea who you are but anyone proud enough to serve this great country deserves a Kudos!

I recommend using 3M or Meguiars mirror glaze. Keep a layer of wax on your hood. I recommend waxing it every 2-3 weeks. Buff the hood every few months as well. CF hoods can withstand pretty much any type of weather. The material tends to fade after about a year or so. The best thing to do to slow this reaction is to wax it or keep your hood away from the sun for long periods of time. It's just like you washing a T-shirt. After a couple runs in the laundry it fades.
