Ok, this is basically a simple question and I think I can get it answered it would be real easy for me to make up my mind.
I want HIDizzles, 4300K and nothing more. If i were to use the stock lights (EG/EH) and used the H4 w/shield would this provide somewhat of a good light output. But what would be wrong with it.
2nd option - get denji projectors or something like that and use those, and then get HID's in h3 for the Denji's. Would this be a better choice for light projection, etc. What would the advantages be over the stock crap.
thanks

ok.. when u put HID on a halogen housing, you just make your existing light pattern brighter.. so look at your beams now..and think about them being 3x brighter.. and yes a shield would be a good idea..
for the most part, you have to get lucky with denji's .. some dont have a good beam at all..some do.. my cousin got a lucky set..perfect beams.. but if i was to get a set of denji's id be on ebay the next day gettin OEM HID projectors..

The guy with the CRX who has done all the lighting projects, he custom fitted an H1 HID capsule into some Pilot H3 projector fogs and got a pretty nice beam pattern. All you have to do is use some sort of washers (not metal) to push the H1 bulb back so that it matches the location that the H3 filament would be. MTK you got the link to that site?
christ - I might just send some money out to MTK to this for me ;P

any OEM HID projector will fit..its just the project itself thats hard.. hopefully soon my boy chris will get some projectors and we're gonna put them in his denji's.. i will then post step by step pics.

u gotta take them apart, then cut the bowl part of the denji projector, to use the mounting bracket.. then JB weld that mounting bracket onto the HID one, then bolt it back up to the denji housing so u can still aim it.. put the headlights back together and bingo.

Doesn't sound THAT bad, MTK do you have any reccomendations on what OEM HID projectors to buy. I peeped ebay, and searched for OEM BMW HID and didnt get much. Any help here man, where/who did you buy from?
thanks..
thanks..
there is a guy on Ebay selling a full X5 kit and a full A4 kit.. both come with everything..projectors, ballasts, bulbs.. both kits cost $425
any OEM HID projector is good.. my favorite are the s2000 because the beam is so far reaching and so wide.. my E46 ones are good.. but im sure you'd like those audi A4 ones.. they do that blue flicker like everyone loves.. haha.. but $425 for OEM HID is a lot better than spending $425 for just a kit IMO.
