Basically, it took me longer to jack up my car than to install the bar. It could not be any more straight forward. However, some people say you must drill a hole 1" forward of the stock swaybar endlink mounting hole in your trailing arm to mount the new endlink, and some say you dont. I did. Here is a pic of mine.

Right click the picture, goto properties. Highlight the URL and click copy. Goto your browers URL insertion box and paster the URL there. And BAM...it's there.

If your car is an EX the holes should already be there, the only reason you would have to drill holes is if you have a car w/o factory bar. Also when removing the bolt from the subframe be sure to follow the directions and only remove one at at time, other than that it's cake.

are the 96 setups different than the 94's? If not the ST sway bar requires drilling

I have an EX and the directions say that if you have holes, to drill another set of holes 1" away from the existing one. I did that and it seemed to install perfectly so I would stick to the directions.

Had an EX, drilled holes. I would imaging having the enlinks as verticle as possible would be best.

for you guys who drilled holes, what year and trim is your accord? and did it come w/ a stock rear sway bar? I have a 94 ex and ive heard mixed responses... some w/ 5th gens had to drill holes some didnt. kind of odd considering I thought we shared the same parts in the rear for the entire generation.

All EX 5th gens come with sway bars. So they will have holes already but those holes are for the stock sway bar. ST specifically says to measure 1" from the existing holes (if you have an EX) and drill new holes.

Even if you have an EX you still have to drill holes. I did on my 92 EX.

Mine are not drilled ... now when you say you drilled 1 inch away from the hole, is that one inch closer towards the rear of the car?

my guess is that you would go towards the front of the car due to the origial hole already being close to the brake line, although I'm pretty sure the instructions said if the hole is already there no drilling necessary. They said if the hole isn't htere then you drill one inch in front of the stud (I never looked but apparenlty there is a stud right there)
