Default how do i get 300whp out of a turbo 2nd gen B16a

Like the title says, I want to get around 300 or so whp. I have a 2nd gen JDM B16a. What engine mods do I need and what turbo should I run?

These are only my suggestions. There are many ways to achieve that amount o power but this is how id do it:

Get the block sleeved
pistons
rods
hondata
injectors
intank fuel pump
t3/t04e turbo
decent intercooler
tial wastegate
3" dp and exhaust
(im sure im leaving something else out)

correctly TUNED with enough boost that will get you about 300hp

Technically you could build the whole thing with sleeves, pistons, rods, etc.

But 300 WHP is not impossible on a stock B16.

I'd say 12 PSI, tuned RIGHT, and your getting real close.

If you want it to be easy, JE 8.5:1 pistons, and slap on 15 PSI+.

Be leary though with those stock sleeves. Sometimes they hold, and sometimes they don't. Good luck.

Yes they could hold, but one little bit of detonation and stock sleeves like to crack. It really all depends on your budget in the end.

How much would it cost to resleeve the block. Is that something that most people could install or does a specialty shop have to do it. Is it safe to run stock internals at 12-15 psi?

I would think if u had a full standalone setup and a great tuner its safeand u would definatly make the HP! for the more budget the 440cc's and an afc might make some #'s at around 10-12! but one is never certain! not every motor is the same

Just another quick note for the non belevers.

Inline Pro ran a second gen integra with a stock b16a motor using 2 headgaskets with a 50 shot, 15psi, and rev hard kit to a 10.1 @ 137 and that motor is actually still running... Enough said.

Adi

hell, i run a stock b16 with an inline head gasket at 14.7 psi daily and have even seen 17-18psi at the track with only 370's, an safc, and a fmu!! and i am almost positive i am making 300hp(wihout a doubt)!!!

EDIT: point of the story............it can be done inexpensivly, but it depends on you and the strength of your motor!

there is no way they did that with a stock fuel setup. or the weak setup that came in that kit. im not saying its impossible to do with an ILP headgasket but not with a crappy fuel setup. injectors a good pump and good tuning are a must.

i ran my setup with all above mentioned and a waldro 255 fp. it is possible if the weather is colder than 35f degrees it gets tuff to tune though. you do need more fuel.
