What will swap from my CRX to hatch, sedan, or wagon?
Alright, the CRX is fun, but I need a backseat in case I ever have more than one passenger or one passenger and a baby seat.
First I thought about finding an AWD Civic wagon, but there's just too much to go wrong in that vehicle.
So I am looking for a nice hatch, 2wd wagon, or sedan, 88-91.
If I get one of these vehicles, what parts from my CRX will swap onto it?
I will be swapping my DOHC ZC and Si tranny.
Here are some parts I have on the CRX:
-Tanabe shocks/springs
-Si sway bars
-Neuspeed upper front strut bar
-AEM CAI
-CRX Si cluster
-'98 Integra GSR seats made to fit in CRX (only if new car has blue interior)
-ZC hood
-amber corner lenses
Thats all I can think of right now. Please tell me which of my parts will fit on which body style. Thanks.

The hood, seats, gauge cluster and corner lenses will all be questionable. It will depend on what you get and what year it is. As far as the cai, shocks, springs, sway bars and strut bar they should all work just fine. The shocks will be an issue if get an 88.
The gauge cluster will have to be from the same years (88-89 & 90-91). And I think there may even be some differences between the 89 CRX and the civics.
The hood and lights are different between models. They may be ok on a hatch but probably won't work on the sedan or wagon.
You will probably have to customize new brackets for the seats to make them work.

I like the fact that my '89 CRX weights absolutley nothing since it was the HF model, but looking at the weights on the hatch, sedan, and wagon, they are all still pretty light.
Why is it there are so many more built CRXs and hatches here on H-T. Is it because those models are the lightest, or that is just the style around here?
What limitations would I face with a sedan or wagon?

the wagon is incredibly simple in its design and easy to fix, don't pass it up
I wouldn't mind the wagon, but the wife isn't to fond of wagons, plus it's doubtful that I'll find a nice one before I find a nice hatch or sedan.

its got more parts and all, so in that respect its harder to fix, but nothing on the wagon is hard to fix
what about a 90 hatch? they have some back seat and they still look kinda sporty with the 2 doors
get an 89-91 Civic Si if you can..
for a sedan, get an EX
for wagon, go AWD. you won't have any problems..
reason why i suggest these? all have MPFI. much easier to do the ZC...
and the problems you run into with any of these won't be big, because it's a honda!

the hood is unique to the wagon. its also unique to the 4door. hatches and crx's use the same hood. you can use your shocks and springs on the wagon. front sway bar will work, rear may need slight mods to work. the amber corners will work also I believe, they're the same basic shape as the wagon just slightly shorter. haven't tried them yet but wanna get clears for a crx and try them on my wagon. everythign else you've listed will work except for the seats, and with a modifed bracket they will. I have 93 teg seats in my wagon.
