I need the torque specs for the cam gear bolts. Also need the specs for the valve adjustment nuts (10mm). You know the ones you tighten after adjusting the valves with a screwdriver. Thanks in advance.
I'd like to know how to torque the valve adjustment nuts with a torque wrench without moving the screw. I always have to tighten them with the tappet adjuster so the screw stays in place.

I've always had to trail and error it. Pain in the ***, but I can hit it dead on usually by the 3rd try. Altho, lately, I've been simply resorting to using a 17mm open-end with the valve adj tool to tighten them down.

Oh and I don't have a lock nut wrench/ valve adjustment tool. I'm thinking of just bending one of my 10mm wrenches and getting a friend to help. Any thoughts on this?
Um, are you guys sure those torque specs are right for the bolts that hold the cam gears on?
I'm looking in my Helm's right now and it says it is 27ft-lbs
Here's a picture.

I used Crow's feet on the end of a socket to adjust my valves.

yeah i looked on the wrong page initially as well and posted the 27 lb/ft torque value in another thread. Boy i felt stupid. I checked it to make sure that i was right and i was DEAD wrong. make sure you look at the B18C1 page and not the B18B1!

Crow's feet are open-end wrenches that are shortened and have ratchet drive so you can use ratchets and torque wrenches on them.
I've only got a 14mm crow's foot b/c they're so damn expensive for a set. For they price they go for, I'd be happier with a set of flare nuts or swivel sockets.

It's much easier to do it yourself with an integrated jam nut holder/screwdriver. I got one from Harbor Freight for $20 but I don't think they carry that tool anymore. You kind of need 3 hands without one, one to hold the wrench, one to turn the screwdriver, and one to slide the feeler gauge in and out.
