The stock CRX one is the easiest to use. Trust me .

Oh gosh no... besides level of difficulty, what else could be important? It's not like you'd get extra performance from using a JDM wiring harness, y'know .

i was always told that he stock JDM wiring harness has things wired differently to make room for the brake master cylinder, the steering, and a few other things being on the right hand side of the car.
i will admitt to possibly being wrong though-ive never done it first hand.

Hmm yeah, good point, I forgot about that... so in other words it seems like the stock harness really IS the best way to go!

i was thinking more along the lines of...maybe the harness from a newer car would be in better condition than that of a older Si harness??? Maybe that would make a slight difference...not in performance, but in reliability..eg. not having problems and so forth??

So what harness do you want to use, correct me if i am wrong but i believe this harness really is the one to use. The 88-91 is the one i used and added four wires ( actually 5 including the ground ) to a seperate little harness of my own creation ( it on that site the shadow said to check out ) and mine runs fine, as long as the harness you are going to use is in decent condition, use it. But there maybe a better way, i don't know everything or try to say i do.

I don't believe so, but like i said i don't everything. I have another Si harness that is in pretty good condition, if you would like it I could possibly sell it to ya ( For like nothing ).

the connections where the engine harness plugs into chasis harness are different on the newer harnesses-so you would essentially be creating an entirely new harness for everything to work. Your best bet if your worried about it is to get a harness from the same generation thats in better shape.
