Default Quick Question on JDM Headlight

I have my headlights working but instead of using the JDM corner light socket i used the USDM because its dual filament plus no more wire hacking... My question is anyone doing the same ? and if so how did you get the USDM socket fit the JDM Headlight assembly ? do you have to trim a certain part of it to make it fit? im sure i could just tape somethin to make it stay but i dont want any debris or moisture to go in.

BTW: yes i did a search on both recent and archived articles... TIA

yes all you have to do is get a razor blade, and slice off one of the sockets. and it will fit right in.
