what do you guys think is the trade off of duration and lift?

this is ERICS cam spec
Valve Lift Duration

Intake High (VTEC) 12.9mm 305
Exhaust High (VTEC) 11.9mm 315

Skunk2 Stage 3
Int-270 dur. / 12.8mm lift
Exh-279 dur. / 11.8mm lift

what do you think the best vtec crossover would be?

 

what are the duration numbers measured at lift wise?

Be surprised that those cams might be damn near identical expect for ramp profile.

 

I think the TODA measurements there are at 0mm of lift, and the Skunk at 1mm of lift. I will see if I can find the conversion to 1mm for the TODAs that someone called around for.

yeah they are at 1 mm lift. I was just asking what people prefer more! lift or duration. is duration really worth it when all we do is top end in everygear?

 

how many liters is the engine and what are the rest of the specs...that'll make it easier to establish a proper crossover point.
