I helped install my friend's JDM R header last night in his '94 GSR but when we installed his o2 sensor the clearance was pretty tight between the bottom of the car and the sensor. I am not sure what type of cat he used though. I think it's a Carsound but not too sure.
Is there something he can do to keep it from rubbing? Would the lower bracket help keep it from moving so it doesn't rub? Is there a shorty o2 sensor he can buy? Or is he condemned to deal with the rattling forever?
He had to leave so we couldn't check into it further after the test drive to see if it was something else that was rattling like a heat shield so I am going over scenario's for when he has time to look under the car.
Thanks for the help!
