Help w/ o2 sensor!!
I recently installed an aftermarket header on my 95 obd1 jdm gsr engine which is in my eg hatch from hmotorsonline. I never had any issues with the swap until after this was done. Basically when we installed the header the o2 sensor that I used before with the stock gsr header wouldn't reach. There happened to be a longer one around the shop that we used, so I figured that was the end of it. NOPE
Driving it later that evening after going to redline a few times, no issues at all. Then I pulled off the interstate and it started to bog down like it was running to rich and then it would backfire/lunge forward and then allow me to accelerate again. It doesn't do this all the time, just occasionally, but it is really annoying.
I am pretty sure I need a o2 sensor pigtail so I can use my good o2 sensor from before and just extend it. Does anyone know where I can get one of these quickly? Or does anyone know where I can just get a longer o2 sensor from Denso possibly? Thanks
Oh and I am NOT throwing any check engine lights.

Re: Help w/ o2 sensor!!
I've talked to ppl who said you can't go splicing the o2 sensor wires because they are solid state? I dunno, it's not my area of expertise, hence why I am asking! Bump for more info, thanks!

I've had to cut and splice the 02 sensor wires for both of the Civics I've owned with no issues. My current one gets 40 mpg regularly. I would say the ECU is gettting a good signal from the 02 sensor through the cut/spliced wires.
