Ebay short shifter problem/question..
After i got the high bid on this item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...400685962&rd=1 this one guy sent me an e-mail sayin this....
do not buy from this guy....i have been ripped off before from him and
the shifter WILL NOT fit an accord...accord / prelude shifters are
cable set up and NOT the typical ball shifter set up as seen in that
picture...i'm telling you THAT SHIFTER IS FOR A CIVIC not an accord
can all you accord "know-it-alls" check that shifter out and see if its really for an accord? Thanks.

dont unbid it! tell him its the wrong one.. make him loose out. ask for pics b4 u buy. mabey someone dont like him! mabey the person emailing you didnt read the auction, there are alot of factors and there is always 2 sides to the story.
i do have the correct shifter for sale aim:ratherbewalking ill sell it cheap

unbid it. i doubt a guy like that would be a retailer and would stock an accord one. Better than to be stuck w/ a winning bid on something.
is what u are selling a true short shift lever, or just the adapter?

there are only a couple reasons you can retract a bid. one of them is that the seller listed the item wrong, or the seller changed the listing, i can't remember which one. i had to retract one when the bolt pattern on a wheel was listed wrong. ebay says they make record of it, but as long as you have a valid reason, it won't be held against you. did you email the guy to tell him it's the wrong listing, and that he should change it? if he doesn't respond, or denies it, you can also send an email to ebay complaining that the guy is listing the item wrong and won't correct it.
yea, i sent him an e-mail that said... you are selling the wrong shifter , and i expalined why. he responded with.. "if you don't like it, dont ****** buy it"...i'm lucky someone outbid me though. Now i dont have to worry about it.
