Default My car burns oil

When I start my Crx, ALOT of white smoke comes out of my tailpipe, is there any way I can stop the car from burning oil? Oil change, and what else?? And there is also a puddle of oil or whatever under the front bumper.. can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Well, white smoke does not denote burning oil. Blue smoke does. As for the white smoke, it usually signifies coolant loss. HOWEVER, all the hondas I've owned and my brother (Raene) has owned all blow out white smoke when we start them up. As for the oil puddle, check the oil pan gasket.

Not too much, but kind of a PITA to replace. Really nasty job.

yeah if you do replace it you'll need gasket sealer to go around the studs.

p.s. You should check all around your block as well, the puddles could be coming from another gasket that has decided to leak, check for any trailing oil marks on the block also, no need to replace a good part
