Default Expo 3 Raffle questions

How is this going to work? Tickets handed out or something? And if you win one prize are you still eligible for another one or will you be removed from the "contenders"?

We could put all the prizes in a piniata and take turns taking wacks at it. Then when it busts open, there is a free for all maylay to get the prizes

I don't think we've discussed it much. I know the we-todd's need to stay far away from the whole raffle process or we might be suspected of rigging it

Everyone will get a ticket.

Drivers will get Tickets for bigger prizes. Everyone will get a ticket for the smaller prizes. We will probably sell additional tickets but this has yet to be discussed.

So based on that a Driver wil get 2 tickets and a Non Driver will get one Ticket. The Non Driver tickets and the second Driver tiket will be for lesser prizes (Resevior Covers, Rad caps) vs bigger prizes (Header, Hondata, King Gift Certificate).

exactly. And considering there's like 20+ "we-todds" there.. I'd guess at least one will win something.

So if you win something small, you can still win something big too?

considering that there will be over 100 people for the small items,

and 75ish for the drivers,

I'd say I wouldnt worry too much about winning something , but its definately lady luck if you do

1:100 for a spoom something something

and

1:75 for a new car toy

and volunteers get first dibs on all unclaimed items j/k. though they won't do me any good since i no longer own a Honda . if i recall correctly, Ed (zyg) won the JDM header at the first Expo, i think that was the big item at that raffle.

Dave, I disagree. The we-todds shouldn't be disqualified from the raffle. Anyone who seriously suspects that the raffle is rigged suffers from schizophrenia/paranoia and isn't mentally fit to be driving on the track.

Now if beer or fireworks is a raffle prize, then the we-todds will fall under heavy scrutiny.

buying tickets isn't neccessary since we aren't attending an event setup by a real organization that requires incoming funds (ie nasa bumblefuk pa region), therefore, the number of tickets disbursed should set. if all the raffle items were donated, then we should just do the tickets as listed above - 1 big prize ticket for drivers and 1 little price ticket for drivers & banqueteers (?).

I like this idea, especially for the bigger products, i'd gladly pay 25 bucks a ticket for a "drivers" raffle ticket, and i'm sure many others would too. This would benefit everyone in that there will be much more prizes to go around with all those extra tickets being sold.

The raffle is on Sunday right?

If so then take the tickets and stash them in a bunch of empty beer cans (which I'm sure will be abundant) and float them in an ice water filled keg tub, then go bobbing for prizes...

Let's at least be creative guys... If you want more of a challenge then use warmer water and toss in a few snakes or 100 of 'em,,, Fear Factor style!

Piñata is cool what else odd can we think of, make it interesting and challenging...

A.

Good memory, that was the day I bought the DRAG III turbo kit from Jack ...
